• Most of the Hotels and Guest houses aren't allowing customers to enter their swimming pools and Jacuzzis due to covid related restrictions.

• Always confirm with the owners that the water supply will be available 24/7 (applicable to guest houses run by families)

• Enquire about power cuts and in case of power cuts if there is an inverter or generator in place.

• Make sure the mattress on the beds in the rooms is of good quanlity and always check if the Wi-fi, TV and Fridge if provided are in a working condition.

• Local advice is not always correct.. Yes that right! Double check information about advice provided with various sources, be it places to visit, restaurants, beaches, clubs etc.

• Due to covid a lot of places don't operate as normal, call up the place and double check before traveling.

• Always wear helmets and masks while riding or driving, huge fines are imposed due to strict laws introduced by the government.

• Drive safely because there are potholes on some roads, you may even encounter cows or dogs suddenly crossing your path which may catch you off guard.

• Confirm the dress code before visiting a club.

• Always hire a bike if possible because taxis and Auto rickshaws charge a bomb. Check the bike thoroughly before paying look for damages and test ride of possible.

• Read the news before arriving and departing. Call friends or family members in case they are in Goa.
